Coláiste Naomh Cormac hosts robotics workshop for primary school students

On Thursday May 9, 5th and 6th class students from Scoil Bhríde, Ballyboy, visited Coláiste Naomh Cormac to take part in the Lego Robotics workshop.

This workshop was designed and delivered by Transition Year students at Coláiste Naomh Cormac. This programme offered the students at Scoil Bhríde, Ballyboy a taster programme on how to manufacture and program a robot. An internal Lego League competition was also run at the end of the training. Both the training and league competition were very successful.

The winners were presented with a Lego League Plaque designed and manufactured by Woodwork Department and all students that competed were presented with a Lego League medal which was designed and manufactured by the school's Metalwork Department.
