Enterprising Offaly students represent county at national finals

Offaly's Local Enterprise Office has paid tribute to the local students who represented their county brilliantly at the Student Enterprise National Finals in Mullingar last Thursday.

The finalists from Offaly this year included Danielle Fogarty, with her company D Fogarty Woodworks, from the Sacred Heart School, Tullamore.

Peace of Mind Jewellery was the student enterprise created by finalist Chloe Usher from Oaklands Community College in Edenderry, while Gallen Community School, Ferbane, students Tom Halligan, Aaron Kenny, Adam Delaney and Ethan Kelly reached the final with their Sweet Tooth Hampers initiative.

The overall winner in the senior category at the finals was Finnegan Fabrication High Lift from County Meath.

The overall winner in the Intermediate Category was Esker Timber Creations from County Galway, and the overall winner in the Junior Category was Carry Camán from County Kerry.
