Birr Golf Club ladies section presents cheque to local nursing unit

A cheque for €250 was recently presented to Birr Community Nursing Unit (BCNU) by the Ladies section of Birr Golf Club.

The Ladies section organise 'The Glenns Trophy' compeition each year with teams from all over Ireland competing in Birr. A donation is always made from the proceeds of the raffle to BCNU.

The presentation followed a singalong with Laura and friends in the dining room of the nursing unit where there was great singing, dancing, smiles and laughter.
