Offaly name team for Clare clash

The Offaly team to take on Clare in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League tomorrow (Sunday) has been named.

There are two changes to the starting XV that was edged out by Antrim (2-5 to 1-7) at Corrigan Park in the last round.

Raheen's Dylan Hyland returns from suspension and is selected at right corner-forward, while Eoin Carroll starts at midfield. The two players to lose out are Morgan Tynan and Anton Sullivan, though the latter is on the bench.

Sunday's game at Glenisk O'Connor Park, Tullamore (2pm) is a clash of two teams coming in off the back of one-point defeats. Clare lost out to Westmeath in their last game, with the Banner men very unhappy of the controversial disallowing of a late goal which would have clinched victory.

Mark Fitzgerald's side overcame Sligo in their opening match, while Offaly are seeking their first win of the campaign.
