Two changes to Offaly team for clash with Wexford

Offaly manager Johnny Kelly has named his team to play Wexford in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League tomorrow evening (Saturday).

The match at Chadwicks Wexford Park (throw-in 5pm) will be televised live on TG4.

There are two changes to the Offaly starting team from last Sunday's defeat to Waterford in Tullamore (3-20 to 0-17).

Mark Troy replaces Stephen Corcoran in goal and Troy is one of five Ballinamere players in the starting XV. In addition, David King comes in at midfield instead of the suspended Leon Fox, who was shown a red card against Waterford.

Eoghan Cahill (0-6) and Brian Duignan (0-5) accounted for 11 of Offaly's points against the Déise men and they will be aiming to continue that sort of form against Wexford.

Donal Shirley from Tubber made his league debut off the bench last Sunday and is again listed among the subs, as is rising star Adam Screeney.

For their part, Wexford drew with arch rivals Kilkenny in their opening league game, 2-16 apiece, at UPMC Nowlan Park. Seamus Casey and Cian Byrne scored the Wexford goals in last Sunday's clash with the Cats.

Wexford are now managed by Keith Rossiter and the Slaneysiders won the Walsh Cup last month, defeating Galway in the final.
