Offaly firefighters undertake training programme

Offaly Fire & Rescue Service continue to undertake training programmes to ensure that they are able to assist local communities.

Mark McKenna from Lambe Brothers Toyota recently showed Offaly firefighters all the features of the Toyota BZ4X electric vehicle during a training day. The firefighters had the opportunity to test the EV plug which isolates power to the car to ensure safe working conditions during rescues involving electric vehicles.
