Heavy rainfall warning for all counties

Met Eireann is warning of heavy rainfall tonight and throughout tomorrow.

The national forecaster issued a yellow rainfall warning for the entire country.

It predicts heavy rain overnight (Tuesday), followed by heavy showers tomorrow (Wednesday), which may lead to localised flooding.

Strong southerly winds overnight, veering southwesterly tomorrow, in conjunction with spring tides, may lead to coastal flooding.

The warning comes into effect at 8pm tonight (Tuesday) and lasts until midnight Wednesday/Thursday.
