Tullamore Harriers prepares to host Hospice Mile

Tullamore Harriers AC has extended a warm welcome to its annual Hospice Mile event which, by tradition, will take place on Christmas morning, next Monday, in the Tullamore Harriers Stadium.

Call in anytime between 10am to 12md to do a lap of the track or indeed compete in the Hospice Mile race which kicks off at 11am.

Supporting this event through donations can make a significant impact on the local community, providing essential care for patients throughout their difficult journey with life-limiting illnesses.

The plans for the 16-bedded Specialist Palliative Care Unit at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore are well on target as it aims to enhance the quality of life for patients dealing with various end-stage conditions.

Organisers are urging people to show their support for Offaly Hospice by taking part in a walk and chat around the track on Christmas morning, December 25, while raising much needed funds for the community.
