WATCH: Local band 'Take It To The Limit' releases distinctive version of classic Christmas hymn

Take It To The Limit, the band featuring Ballycumber's Simon Casey and members of the Midlands musical family the Sheerins, has released a distinctive new take on the Christmas hymn O Holy Night.

The song is the latest single from the group, which has a busy touring schedule in January and February, including a sold-out show at the Tullamore Court Hotel on January 4, and a date at Ballinasloe's Shearwater Hotel on February 22.

Formed in 2018 to pay homage to Californian rockers The Eagles, the band includes vocalists Simon Casey, Johnny Brady and Nigel Connell, accompanied by the Sheerin family band.

Take It To The Limit's version of O Holy Night features tasteful electric instrumentation which adds some new flavour to a familiar song. The single is out now on streaming platforms and you can watch the video for it here:
