Clara's virtual Christmas parade to be streamed online
Clara's annual virtual Christmas parade will be streamed online on Sunday, December 10.
The online parade was established by local man Bertie McMahon in 2020. He has also organised the town's St Patrick's day parade for many years. Bertie has a large archive of videos from these parades and has dipped into those memories for the upcoming online event.
The parade will feature a Christmas concert and music by The Artane Boys Junior Band. Clara man Barry Flynn will MC the virtual parade and the town's Christmas lights will be switched on.
The virtual trip down memory lane will be available to view on www.datsclara.ie from 6pm on Sunday, December 10.
Bertie has previously organised special Christmas parades through the town centred around the Goodbody's canteen and BOPA children's parties many years ago.
