Fantastic Christmas ceremony in Ferbane
Ferbane Tidy Towns held its annual Christmas Lights Ceremony last Sunday there was a really lovely atmosphere.
The organisers have thanked Padraig Boland who MC'd the event, Gallen Community School Trad Group and their teacher Ms. Keyes, St. Cynocs Choir and their teacher Ms. McGowan, Gallen Community School Ferbane music students and their teacher Mr. Maher and to Ciaran Brownie Guinan and Brendan who played some great Christmas tunes and did the Christmas Lights count down with Santa.
Ferbane Tidy Towns would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers who fundraised to pay for running costs, collected spot prizes, put up the Christmas lights for over four hours in bitter conditions, prepared the Mary Ward Heritage Centre for the event, served beverages, performed master of ceremonies duties, escorted Santa, did crowd control duties, organised the raffle, cleaned up after the event and of course the main man himself for taking time out of his busy schedule to drop into the children of Ferbane
A huge thank you to each and every person & local business who sponsored the Christmas Lights.
