Santa Dash run and family walk is back in Lough Boora

A 5k Santa Dash and 1k family walk takes place on December 10 next in Lough Boora Discovery Park at 11am.

Since 2014, Lough Boora Running group and Ferbane AC have raised thousands of euros for charity, and this year they have chosen Féileacáin, a not for profit organisation that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during or after pregnancy.

It was established by a group of bereaved parents to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby around the time of birth or afterwards.

Now a national organisation, Féileacáin supports families affected by perinatal loss and relies on community support to stay going.

The 5k Santa dash run/jog and a 1k family walk takes place on Sunday, December 10 at 11am.

Enter online at https://myrunresults.com/ It is an AAI Permit 5k chipped and timed event. A limited number of entries on the day.

Santa will be there with goodies for the children. Refreshments afterwards in Teach Lea.
