Coltons receive Lifetime Achievement Award at Tullamore Chamber Awards

Rosemary and Ronnie Colton, the dynamic duo behind Colton Motors, received the lifetime achievement award at the Tullamore & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards on Friday night.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Minister of State at the Department of Transport and the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications Jack Chambers, Deputy Barry Cowen and council officials

The Chamber was delighted to launch the new "Spirit of Offaly Award" in honor of the late James O'Connor in recognition of his outstanding contribution to mental health services. The Chamber said The “Spirit of Offaly Award” not only honors James O’Connor’s memory but also serves as a testament to the importance of supporting mental health and those who contribute selflessly to this crucial field.

His wife Lisa was chosen for the inaugural award, for her dedication and commitment to continuing his legacy.

Vincent Cleary of Glenisk was chosen as Business Person of the Year.

This well-deserved recognition is a testament to his unwavering resilience and outstanding success in his business.

Mr Cleary's dedication and strategic acumen have undoubtedly played a pivotal role in achieving such an esteemed honor.

His leadership at Glenisk has not only propelled the company to new heights but has also set a shining example for others in the business community.
