D & S Hardware to mark 25th anniversary with massive sale

D & S Hardware has been in business for the past 25 years and over that time has been to the forefront of providing quality hardware and power tools at their store in Tullamore.

Proprietors Stephen and Emer O'Connor, along with their loyal and experienced staff, have built up a vast customer base for all their hardware products and services; ranging from general hardware, power tools, fasteners & fixings, plumbing and heating as well as a massive range of PPE, work and footwear for all trades and sectors.

D & S Hardware is best known for providing power and hand tool brands such as DeWALT, Makita, Milwaukee, Jefferson, Stanley, Marshalltown, Wera and Trend all on display in one of the largest showrooms in the midlands.

They also offer a wide range of workwear clothing brands for both men and women such as Swedish brand, Blåkläder, Portwest, Apache, Mascot, DeWALT and Xpert.

The store also has a modern dedicated showroom showcasing their range of stoves, fireplaces, electric fires and wood pellet stoves, and offer advice on all your heating needs.

Stephen O'Connor said that the store has built a reputation for helping locals and for “going above and beyond” to look after customers.

The owner of the hardware store added that they was looking to “expand” the shop by adding more display areas for tools and by working on their website for a more interactive customer experience.

The business was first established as a small hardware store on Church Road, Tullamore in 1998 before they moved to Axis Business Park on the Clara Road in 2007.

D & S Hardware, Tullamore will hold a massive sale on Friday, December 1 to mark 25 years in business in the town.

Some of their main suppliers will be there on the day to perform demonstrations using the tools and work wear in their outdoor display area.
