New local exhibition showcases artists from Offaly

A new exhibition showcasing work by artists from or living in Offaly opens this Saturday, November 4 at 4pm in Esker Arts centre, Tullamore.

The Offaly Artists Show offers a platform for artists at all stages of development – from emerging to established artists. It will be a biennial event, with the aim of establishing a major group exhibition for the Midlands.

Esker Arts aims to provide opportunities for Offaly artists to make and show their work. This exhibition will be the first time artmakers of the county come together to showcase the best of work being created in the county. It is a celebration of the quality and diversity of the art from the county.

The work in the exhibition was selected by Patrick Murphy, Director, Royal Hibernian Academy.

The exhibition runs from November 4 to December 22 next. Admission is free.
