The annual New Year's Eve gig will feature street performers along with major Irish acts such as Dec Pierce's Block Rockin Beats which is immensely popular performance of the world's biggest dance anthems featuring a DJ set with a full live band. Also on the line-up are singer/songwriter Ryan Mac, indie rock band Ham Sandwich, DJ Jen Payne, multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Hickey aka R.S.A.G, singer/songwriter Sinead White, electro-pop artist Chubby Cat, DJ's Emma Power and Fergal D'Arcy and Today FM's Shelly Gray.

Head of Festivals at Fáilte Ireland, Ciara Sugrue, said: “Fáilte Ireland is thrilled to announce the return of New Year’s Festival Dublin for 2023. Working with our partners in the Office of Public Works, we are planning a spectacular four-day programme of music, entertainment, and fun for all the family this year in some of Dublin’s most iconic venues. Festivals are essential drivers of tourism revenue which is why it’s so important that we continue to create unique and engaging experiences to attract visitors and position Dublin as a must-visit city to ring in the new year. NYF Dublin is a flagship event in Fáilte Ireland’s Winter in Dublin programme and we are looking forward to announcing more acts and performers for the festival over the coming weeks.”

NYF Dublin will take place in the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks on Saturday, December 30. Taking place over four days this year from December 29 2023 through to January 1 2024, the festival brings together some of Ireland’s best talents for a host of spectacular events set to take place across the city in three iconic venues. Tickets are now on sale here from just €29.90.

Chasing Abbey also recently announced an exciting hometown gig in Tullamore this Christmas. The show will take place in The Phoenix venue on Saturday, December 23.

The Offaly band recently signed a global record deal with Warner Music following the release of their new hit song, 'Oh My Johnny' (Banks of the Roses) which is the group's biggest career highlight to date. When they first teased a 30-second clip of their new track on TikTok in May, it quickly went viral, racking up millions of views. It was number 1 on the Irish Soundcloud Chart and number 1 on the Irish YouTube Trending Chart.

Chasing Abbey is made up of Ted Conway aka Teddy C, Jonathan Byrne aka Johnny Bee and Ronan Bell aka Outro.
