Chasing Abbey to perform free gig in Tullamore
Dance pop trio Chasing Abbey will perform a free gig at the Bridge Shopping Centre in Tullamore this Saturday at 2pm.
The Tullamore band said that they will be playing some tunes for everyone and doing a meet and greet with fans. The all ages fan experience is especially aimed at their younger fans ahead of an upcoming live tour around the country.
There will also be a Q&A with the band and an opportunity to get signed posters and to win lots of prizes.
The Offaly band also recently announced an exciting hometown gig in Tullamore this Christmas.
The show will take place in The Phoenix venue on Saturday, December 23. Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday morning at www.willwego.com.
Taking to social media, the Phoenix venue in Tullamore said: "We can't wait to welcome Chasing Abbey back to our venue on Saturday 23rd of December. The lads are going to end their winter tour with a home town show and it is going to be the best Christmas party in town!
"They have been doing Tullamore and Offaly proud the last few months from selling out The Academy, appearances at Electric Picnic and on The Late Late Show and 'Oh My Johnny' has become one of the biggest and best songs of the year."
Chasing Abbey recently signed a global record deal with Warner Music following the release of their new hit song, 'Oh My Johnny' (Banks of the Roses) which is the group's biggest career highlight to date. When they first teased a 30-second clip of their new track on TikTok in May, it quickly went viral, racking up millions of views. It was number 1 on the Irish Soundcloud Chart and number 1 on the Irish YouTube Trending Chart.
Chasing Abbey is made up of Ted Conway aka Teddy C, Jonathan Byrne aka Johnny Bee and Ronan Bell aka Outro.
