Paddy Carlyle and Patrick O'Keeffe each celebrated their 50th Parkrun in Daingean last weekend.

Paddy and Patrick celebrate their 50th Parkrun in Daingean!

A beautiful autumnal morning greeted the participants of last Saturday's Mountlucas Parkrun in Daingean. Over 40 people participated and volunteered, making for a very enjoyable run.

There was a double celebration on the morning, with regulars Patrick O'Keeffe and Paddy Carlyle both celebrating their 50th Parkruns.

There was an added celebration for Paddy, as Saturday was also his birthday, so this was a nice way to mark the milestone.

Another notable feature of the weekend's run was the involvement of Brian Miskelly, who drove all the way from county Down to partake in Mountlucas parkrun.

This was part of Brian's ambition to visit every parkrun in the country.
