Chasing Abbey announce hometown show this Christmas

Dance pop trio Chasing Abbey have announced an exciting hometown gig in Tullamore this Christmas.

The show will take place in The Phoenix venue on Saturday, December 23. Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday morning at www.willwego.com.

It is an over 18's show and the band is hoping to organise a local U18's performance for their younger fans later in the year.

Taking to social media, the Phoenix venue in Tullamore said: "We can't wait to welcome Chasing Abbey back to our venue on Saturday 23rd of December. The lads are going to end their winter tour with a home town show and it is going to be the best Christmas party in town!

"They have been doing Tullamore and Offaly proud the last few months from selling out The Academy, appearances at Electric Picnic and on The Late Late Show and 'Oh My Johnny' has become one of the biggest and best songs of the year."

The Offaly band recently signed a global record deal with Warner Music following the release of their new hit song, 'Oh My Johnny' (Banks of the Roses) which is the group's biggest career highlight to date. When they first teased a 30-second clip of their new track on TikTok in May, it quickly went viral, racking up millions of views. It was number 1 on the Irish Soundcloud Chart and number 1 on the Irish YouTube Trending Chart.

Chasing Abbey is made up of Ted Conway aka Teddy C, Jonathan Byrne aka Johnny Bee and Ronan Bell aka Outro.
