Three units in Tullamore shopping centre sell for over €700,000

Three retail units at the Bridge Centre in Tullamore have been sold at auction for more than €700,000.

Units 5, 10, and 17 in the popular shopping centre went up for auction on September 21, with the bidding starting at €550,000.

Two bidders competed against each other for the purchase, and the three units were ultimately sold for €727,000.

A summary of the properties outlined how unit 5 was let to J&J Retail Ltd Bestseller, unit 10 was let to Dolans Pharmacy, and unit 17 was "let to an individual".

The current rent reserved for the three units was listed as €70,159 per annum.

Earlier this year, a separate group of three units at the Bridge Centre was sold at auction for over €500,000.

This grouping of units was auctioned in late June, and consisted of units 1A, 2, and 19/20.

It was stated that unit 1A was let to Boston Barbers Bars, unit 2 was let to Kit Your Kitchen, and unit 19/20 was let to Vero Moda.

The current rent reserved for these three units was listed as €58,000 per annum. Bidding for them started at €400,000 and five bidders were vying for the properties before they ultimately sold for €513,000.
