Offaly writers' group to publish second collection

Wordsmiths Tullamore, a talented group of local writers, is thrilled to announce the launch of their eagerly-awaited second book, "Journeys." Following the tremendous success of their debut publication, "Whisperings," in 2018, Wordsmiths Tullamore is back with another literary showpiece that promises to captivate readers and leave a lasting impression.

"Journeys" is a collection of thought-provoking stories and poems that explore the profound and often transformative experiences that life's journey offers. With an array of voices, styles, and themes, the writers of Wordsmiths Tullamore delve deep into the human experience, touching on themes of love, loss, hope, and resilience. Each piece in this anthology invites readers to embark on a unique voyage, delving into the hearts and minds of the writers as they share their most intimate reflections.

"Journeys" will be launched at John Lee's Bar, on Church Street, Tullamore, on Thursday, October 12, starting at 8pm. This cosy and welcoming venue has long championed the arts in Tullamore, being host to poetry and music events and will provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable literary evening.

Guests will have the opportunity to connect with the talented Wordsmiths Tullamore writers who contributed to "Journeys" and gain insight into their creative process.

They can also purchase their very own copy of "Journeys" and have it personally signed by the authors and experience the power of the written word as the authors share select readings from "Journeys," bringing the stories and poems to life.

This event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is free. Whether you're a devoted reader, a fan of Wordsmiths Tullamore, or simply interested in discovering new literary talents, this book launch is an event not to be missed.

For those unable to join Wordsmiths Tullamore at their upcoming book launch for "Journeys," copies will be available from Choice Publishing on their website at www.choicepublishing.ie in the Book Store. Copies of "Whisperings" are also available.
