Seamus O’Rourke is bringing Mossy Flood to Moore
Seamus O’Rourke has over two million hits on YouTube and social media and it is little wonder given his award winning collection of short stories, recitations, plays and sketches.
Moore Community Council is delighted to welcome the writer, director, and actor to Moore Community Hall, Ballydangan, Athlone, Co. Roscommon (N37HT68) on Friday, September 22nd, which also happens to be Culture Night!
Seamus has written and stars in 'The Ballad of Mossy Flood' and he is bringing this much loved play to Moore.
Mossy Flood has a knack of going the long way around a story. In so doing, he makes us laugh and examine ourselves in a way we haven't done before. He might be an unsociable odd ball, with a big thick head, but his wrestle with the everyday is pure gold. He will always land on his feet or at least somewhere near his feet because he is Mossy Flood and he's from Longford!
Join us and Seamus O’Rourke for a wonderful night’s entertainment in Moore Community Hall (N37HT68) on Culture Night - Friday, September 22nd 2023 at 8pm.
Tickets are €15 and are currently available online via:
https://buytickets.at/moorecommunityhall
Tickets are also available in Naughton's Shop/Filling Station (Thomastown, Ballydangan) and from the Moore Community Office (09096 73538 / moorecc3@gmail.com).
Curtain up at 8pm and all slagging about Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon is to be left at the door! Everyone is welcome.
