Success for young Offaly man in Home International Rowing Regatta

Former Offaly Rowing Club member Adam Grace who is now a prominent member of UL Rowing Club had massive success in Lough Rynn last weekend at The Home International Rowing Regatta 2023.

Adam from Killooley, Blue Ball donned the Irish Jersey for the first time alongside club mate Luke Sutton in the Men's Senior Pair with a fantastic win over their British, Scottish and Welsh counterparts. The Irish duo held the lead the whole race with the British pair putting pressure on the Irish boat over the last 500m. However, they couldn't catch Adam and Luke and Ireland won gold.

This success is testament to the endless training, commitment and pure determination Adam has put into rowing over the last few years. Offaly Rowing Club would like to congratulate Adam on this.
