Offaly footballers' poignant presentation to late manager's family

Two senior Offaly footballers made a special presentation to the family of their former manager, the late Liam Kearns, last week.

Kerry native Liam was managing the county team when he died unexpectedly, at the age of just 60, earlier this year.

On social media, Offaly GAA shared a photo of players Anton Sullivan (Rhode) and Declan Hogan (Tullamore) presenting a jersey signed by the entire panel, to Liam's wife Angela and his daughter Laura.

"Liam had made a hugely positive impression on the players during his short period as team manager before his untimely passing in March," stated the official Offaly GAA social media account.
