Solar panels plan for Tullamore hospital

The HSE is planning to install solar PV panels on the roof of the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

According to documents published on the State’s eTenders website, the HSE has advertised for expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for the installation of solar PV panels on the hospital.

The closing date for the submission of tenders is 12 noon on Monday next, July 24, and the contract for the installation of the panels is 18 months duration.

No details of how many solar PV panels are to be installed has been detailed on the eTenders notice.
