Birr Junior golfers reach two Leinster finals in one weekend

The Junior Boys team in Birr Golf Club enjoyed great success in recent days reaching not one, but two Leinster finals in a single weekend.

On Saturday the five-strong team of Eanna Mulhare, Kieran Clancy, Charlie Smith, Thomas Moylan and Daire Guilfoyle defeated a strong Wexford team 3-2 to reach the Leinster final of the Fred Daly trophy.

Then on Sunday they beat Edenderry by 7 holes to reach the Junior Foursomes Leinster Final.

Birr Golf Club wished them well in both Leinster finals, with dates to follow.
