Offaly County Council Arts Office invites submissions for Culture Night 2023

The Arts Office of Offaly County Council has extended its deadline for applications for Culture Night 2023 until tomorrow (Wednesday.) Culture Night is a national moment, celebrating culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day. One Night for All encompasses the mission and vision of Culture Night.

Offaly Council’s Culture Night Event Fund supports the cost of events programmed for Offaly Culture Night which will take place on Friday, September 22 up to a maximum grant award of €600 for successful applicants.

The fund is open to not-for-profit organisations, local community groups, arts, heritage and cultural groups, venues and societies. Applications by individuals must be in partnership with a community, cultural or heritage group. In order to apply click here

The Arts Office also invites applications from professional artists operating in any discipline, to submit proposals for commissions. The Arts Office wish to commission Cultural Engagement Projects/Presentations that are ambitious, original and innovative. Applications are open to professional artists living or from Offaly with a maximum grant award of €1,000 to successful applicants. For details on how to apply visit this website here

The new closing date for receipt of applications for funding is by 2pm on Wednesday, June 14.
