Search for missing local man stood down

Gardaí have confirmed the search for a missing local man has been stood down following the discovery of the body of a man in Galway yesterday (Saturday, June 10).

Noel Guilfoyle (45) from Tullamore had been missing since June 6 last.

An Garda Síochána thanked the media and the public for their assistance.
