Head of Rotary in Ireland pays visit to Tullamore club's meeting

The District Governor of the Rotary organisation in Ireland, Sean Fitzgerald, was welcomed to a meeting of the Tullamore & District Rotary Club last week.

The visit, on Tuesday, March 28, marked an important occasion for the club, as it provided an opportunity to showcase its community service projects and engage with the wider Rotary community.

The District Governor, who serves as the official representative of Rotary International in the district, met with the Tullamore club's members to discuss its ongoing initiatives and hear about plans for the future.

"We were delighted to welcome the District Governor to our club and share with him the great work we are doing in the community," said Tullamore & District Rotary club president, Eoin Sheehan.

"This visit was an important opportunity for us to connect with other Rotary clubs and to continue building relationships that will help us make a positive impact in Tullamore and beyond."

Tullamore & District Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, a global network of more than 1.2 million members who work together to create positive, lasting change in their communities and around the world.
