Tullamore Tidy Towns honoured by St Patrick's Day committee
Tullamore Tidy Towns has been honoured by the St Patrick's Day committee for highlighting the key themes of Tidy Towns.
The Tidy Towns float at the Tullamore St Patrick's Day parade highlighted not only nature and biodiversity but also the importance of our built heritage, tidiness and litter control, landscape and open spaces and drew awareness aware to climate action and recycling initiatives.
Tullamore Tidy Towns would like to thank the St Patrick's Day Parade committee for raising awareness of Tidy Towns across the community. They look forward to the growing support from community groups and the people of Tullamore as they strive to improve key elements of our town and win the competition outright in the years ahead.
They would like to thank the key supporters of this year's float entry of Dotser, Long Haul Commercials, KMK Metals Recycling and the hard working Tidy Towns committee. Special thanks to Margaret Naughton and her crew for an amazing float, recreating a fantasy garden with larger than life flora and fauna and colourful insects, animals, and natural surroundings highlighting the importance of biodiversity and nature in the community.
