Kilbeggan Races reveals dates for 2023 fixtures

Kilbeggan Races has revealed that its 2023 fixtures list starts with a two day meeting, in a season that is to run from April to September.

A total of nine evening meetings and one full-day event is to take place at the Westmeath racecourse, with the opening fixtures being the Spring Two Day National Hunt meeting on Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21, both at 4.25pm.

Friday, May 12, an evening fixture, is the sole May date, but in June there is a full day event on Sunday, June 4, starting at 2.10pm, with an evening meeting on Monday, June 19.

The Axa Farm Insurance Midlands National and Sustainable Style ladies competition is on Friday July 14 at 5.20pm, and one week later, on Friday, July 21, there is a further evening event.

There will be a further Sustainable Style ladies competition on Saturday, August 12; and there will be another meeting later that month on Friday, August 25, where the first race is scheduled to start at 4.25pm. The final race meeting of 2023 is fixed for Friday, September 8.
