Tullamore's Chasing Abbey to perform on 2FM programme which celebrates upcoming artists

Tullamore trio Chasing Abbey will perform on RTÉ 2FM's Rising on the Road programme next month which celebrates new and upcoming Irish artists.

On Thursday, November 24 follow the RTÉ 2FM roadcaster to Anderson's for the ultimate closing party featuring Chasing Abbey along with Le Boom and Lucy Blue.

2FM Rising is an annual programme that profiles and celebrates new and upcoming Irish artists each year, is taking to the road this Autumn with Ireland's most exciting new music acts. Rising on the Road is bringing together a selection of current and former Rising Acts to three venues around Ireland, a live music experience for 2FM listeners across the country.

The Workman's Club will play host to some Rising on the Road performances from Sprints, Sello and THUMPER on Thursday, November 3.

The programme which takes the most exciting Irish talent on the road will kick off in Dolan's Limerick on Friday, October October 21. Bobbi Arlo, Ezra Williams, and Sophie Doyle Ryder will perform exclusively at the event, hosted by 2FM's Graham Smyth and DJ Kate Brennan Harding.

Tickets are set at a nominal fee of €2 which will go directly to Minding Creative Minds, a not-for-profit organisation that provides free 24/7 wellbeing support for those working in the creative sector.
