Met Éireann warn of thunderstorms threat in Offaly

Met Éireann have issued an orange weather warning for thunderstorms in Offaly today.

Thunderstorm activity is expected. Due to the sporadic nature of development, not all areas will be affected. Heavy downpours of rain and hail will occur in places. There will be some flooding where heavy downpours occur.

Affected regions also include Laois, Carlow, Clare, Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow.

The weather warning is in place until 10pm tonight.
