Wins for Tullamore duo at Mixed Martial Arts event in Newry

Two young Mixed Martial Arts fighters from Tullamore both earned victories in their bouts at the IUR Fighting Championships in Newry last weekend.

Ronan Deegan, from Clonminch, and Jordan Scully, from Harbour Walk, both train twice a day every day in SBG Tullamore under head coach Kieran Davern.

In Newry, Ronan took on Jordan Bradshaw (CMac Gym, Dublin) and defeated him by decision after three rounds.

Jordan also won his bout against Alex Fagan (SBG Charlestown, Dublin) after three rounds.
