Community groups in Tullamore urged to get involved in upcoming Spring Clean

Tullamore Tidy Towns is calling on all community groups, sports clubs, schools, businesses, residents' associations and individuals to get involved in the upcoming Spring Clean Day focused on sprucing up Tullamore.

The big clean-up has been arranged for Saturday, April 9, and plans are taking shape for what should be a safe and successful initiative.

On the Saturday morning, from 10am to 10.30am, the Tidy Towns team will be on hand at the library in O'Connor Square, with bags, disposable gloves, a limited supply of litter pickers and hi-vis jackets.

The public are encouraged share photos and videos of their clean-up activities on social media, using the hashtags: #springclean22 and #tidytullamore

You can email info@tullamoretidytowns.ie to be added to its list of volunteers and to receive tidy town notifications.

The Spring Clean event is taking place with the support of Tullamore Tidy Towns, Offaly County Council, Tullamore & District Chamber, Waterways Ireland, and various community groups, businesses and individuals.
