Planning granted for primary care centre in Kilbeggan
Planning permission has been granted by Westmeath County Council for a new primary care centre in Kilbeggan.
The successful application by Brienross Property Ltd, includes details for the construction of a 1740 square metre two storey building with 68 parking spaces on a 1.15 hectare site on the Tullamore Road. According to the planning application, the development will combine a general practice surgery with a community primary care facility.
Speaking on Midlands 103, Senator Paul Daly said that the primary care centre will be a major asset to the Kilbeggan area.
“It's going to be a fantastic addition to the locality through construction and the new jobs that it will create when complete, not to mention the additional services that will be provided in the community.”
