Pop into the LOETB pop-up shop this December
LOETB in Birr is calling out to charities in the area who have merchandise that they’d like to sell at their pop-up shop this December.
The idea is to give the students a platform to put their retail skills to practice while generating funds for various charities in the area.
The students had the idea of having a pop-up shop in LOETB Birr because the centre has ample parking, is in a great space, while it also pays homage the site's previous life as a supermarket in the town.
“The pop-up shop will give the students the opportunity to set up every aspect of a new shop, from promotion, to inputting stock details, setting up a customer feedback system to selling the actual products for the charities,” according to John McFadden, one of the teachers on the retail course.
So if you are a charity and want to sell some of your products in LOETB Birr’s pop up shop, contact the centre on 057 9121571 or John at jmcfadden@loetb.ie by Friday, November 19.
