Tullamore property sold for €750,000 via online platform
Tullamore's Grand Canal House was sold for €750,000 by investment property specialists BidX1 yesterday (Thursday).
The property, located on Colmcille Street, is a three-storey office building with four ground-floor retail units. It was sold after a single bid via BidX1's online platform.
Two of the retail units are tenanted, let to Edgewater Medical and Canton Regent Chinese Restaurant, as well as the second-floor office, which is let to Rehab Group.
In total, BidX1 sold more than €10m-worth of commercial assets on their digital platform yesterday.
Online bidding is due to open on more than 200 residential properties next Thursday, June 25. The BidX1 platform is fully transparent, with all bids logged and displayed in real-time.
BidX1 have recently announced a joint agency initiative, inviting other property agents in Ireland to get in touch if they have commercial or residential properties that could benefit from increased exposure via BidX1.
