Emergency kit stolen during Birr break-in

Gardaí are appealing for information after an emergency kit worth an estimated €300 was stolen from a business premises in Birr earlier this week.

The emergency responder kit contained foil blankets, shears, hygiene equipment, clipboards, and other items for use in emergency cases. The bag and its contents were taken during a break-in to a business premises on the Tullamore Road in Birr overnight on Tuesday (February 25), between the hours of 6pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday morning.

The culprits disconnected the alarm and entered the premises via a back door, and also stole a small quantity of cash and other equipment.
