Tullamore court appearance over discharge of firearm

A man in his late 30s appeared before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court this morning (Thursday January 30) in relation to the discharge of a firearm. 

The incident occurred around midday on May 5, 2018 at the By-Pass Link Road, Arden Way, Tullamore. 

Gardaí attached to the detective unit investigating the incident arrested the man yesterday, Wednesday. He was extradited from the United Kingdom. 

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
