Stormy Sunday in store as weather warning issued
The country is set to experience a stormy Sunday, with Met Eireann issuing weather warnings for the 26 counties this weekend.
A 'yellow' level wind warning will be in place in Offaly from 3pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday.
The stormiest conditions will be further west, with 'orange level' warnings issued for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Kerry and Limerick from 9am on Sunday until 6am the following morning.
It's expected to be an unsettled weekend overall, with Saturday seeing increasingly strong winds during the day and rain spreading from the west in the late afternoon or evening.
