Close to €100k raised by Offaly Darkness Into Light

Following a very successful Darkness into Light event in Tullamore on May 11, the committee will be joining with Banagher and Edenderrry to present the proceeds of all the walks in Offaly to Pieta House tomorrow night, Friday, June 14 at 9.30pm at The Townhouse, Tullamore.

The organisers are still awaiting final figures but it is hoped that the combined total from Offaly will be close to €100,000 and will make a major contribution to Pieta House in preventing suicide and self harm and raising awareness around these issues.

A big well done and thank you to all who took part in this event and contributed to a very worthy cause.
