Declan Nerney set to make his Birr debut!

Award-winning, country music star, Declan Nerney, (right) and his multi-talented band, will come to Birr Theatre and Arts Centre for the first time on Saturday, February 9.

As a young man growing up in Longford, Declan was heavily influenced by the pop artists of the day but also would cajole his mother into seeing Joe Dolan, Big Tom, Philomena Begley, The Capital Showband and many more perform when they appeared at the marquee in Drumlish each year.

Enjoy a night of great hits - 'Stop the World', 'Marquee in Drumlish', 'Three Way Love Affair', 'Gotta Get up In the Morning', 'Walking on New Grass' ...to name but a few of Declan's massive songbook and you have a knock out send everyone home singing!

The Birr concert takes place on Saturday, February 9 next.
