Medals stolen in Shinrone

Gardai have appealed for information in relation to a burglary in Newtown Shinrone on Wednesday, November 21 between 11am and 8pm.

During the course of this burglary a quantity of jewellery was stolen including two gold medals, both Tipperary senior hurling final for 1975 and 1976 with inscription Seán Seosamh Comartuin and year on rear.

Garda in Birr are appealing to the public who might have seen anything suspicious in area at that time or come across the medals stolen which are easily identifiable and are of sentimental value to the owner.

Anyone who knows anything about this crime or may have information on the property stolen should contact Birr Garda Station or any Garda Station.
