85 unit development planned for Edenderry
Planning permission has been sought for an 85 unit extension to an Edenderry estate.
The planning application submitted by Newlyn Homes Ltd includes details for the construction of 85 two storey dwellings at the Newberry development.
According to the documents submitted to Offaly County Council the proposed development would consist of 59 three bed houses and 26 four beds. The application also includes details for the provision of 199 car parking spaces, including two per unit.
If given the green light by planners in Offaly County Council the new houses will be the third phase of development at the Newberry estate. There were a number of unfinished units on the site of the proposed development but these were recently demolished, according to a letter from the project's architect to the council's planning department.
The decision due date for the application is November 7.
Planning granted for three units in Tullamore
Hanney Properties Ltd have been granted planning permission for the development of three single storey detached dwelling at the Carraig Cluain estate in the town according to documents submitted to the council, the three properties will each have three bedrooms and two parking spaces.
