Chasing Abbey focus of new TV ad

Tullamore trio Chasing Abbey are the centre of attention in the new Eir advertising campaign.

It features the band's second single Talk To Me and highlights Eir's prepaid mobile with the tagline 'Epic Awaits'.

Filmed a month ago in Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin, with further filming on location in Wicklow, it tells the story of Ro, Bee, and Teddy C recording in the studio, and their fans reaction when they learn of a secret gig on social media.

"We're very privileged to have been asked to do it. It's a great honour," says Bee on his way into the studio in Tullamore.

"We're working on a new project, we're working away every day on new music.

"The Eir ad follows us as we're working away in the studio, and then we post about a secret gig and upload it and the fans reaction to that. It was fun, we enjoyed it."

About to head out on their own The Roll Out Tour, taking in Kilkenny, Cork, Limerick and Galway, as well as a headline show in The Academy, Chasing Abbey are the standout success story of the Irish music scene this year.
