Tullamore Hospital one of the most overcrowded today
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) latest trolley and ward watch figures show the Midland Regional Hospital at Tullamore to be one of the most overcrowded in the country today, Tuesday June 19.
Currently there are 35 patients on trolleys in Tullamore, 25 in the Emergency Department, and 10 on wards.
Other hospitals reaching high levels of overcrowding include University Hospital Limerick with 58 on trolleys and 46 in University Hospital Galway.
The nationwide figure is 415, an increase of 25% on the same day last year when there were 331 patients on trolleys.
