Doon 5k and family day on Sunday

On Sunday June 4 Doon GAA is hosting its annual 5k/10k walk - run combined with a family fun day at the grounds.

As well as it being an important fundraiser for the day to day running of the club this year's event takes on extra significance in that monies raised will be used to fund the installation of a defibrillator at Doon cross roads.

With the addition this year of the family fun day at the grounds it promises to be a great day out for children and adults alike. There will be plenty of activities to entertain the kids such as mega slides, penalty shootouts, tug of war, jumble toy sale and much more.

Registration takes place at 11am, followed by the 5/10k walk/run at 1pm. Fun day activities from 2pm at GAA grounds. 

Family BBQ in Martins Pub at 5pm with music by Best Foot Forward followed by a raffle and auction.
