Offaly Pilot to be laid to rest this weekend

The funeral of Offaly pilot Damien Horan is due to take place in Tullamore this weekend.

Mr Horan(30) was tragically killed along with two skydiving instructors and two tandem skydivers when a light plane crashed in Hawaii on Monday, May 23.

He will be laid to rest in Clonminch Cemetery in Tullamore following funeral mass at the Church of the Assumption at 12 noon on Saturday, June 11. 

Mr Horan is survived by his parents Dermot and Teresa and sisters Ciara and Briana.
