Offaly man dies in Hawaiian plane crash
An Offaly man has died following a plane crash in Hawaii on Monday morning.
It’s understood the man was on board a Cessna plane which crashed outside Port Allen Airport on the island of Kauai. The plane is thought to have been carrying a pilot, two sky diving instructors and two tandem jumpers. There were no survivors.
The Irish victim is believed to be from Tullamore. The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the man’s family.
